Monday was the last day of public school for our area; and yesterday, the girls and I dropped by the library to sign up for their summer reading program. We’ve participated every year for several years… so many I can’t remember when we started. This year’s theme is “Make a Splash — Read!”
To continue with our summer reading plans, today we made personalized bookmarks from a template I received from Mom Central as part of the FedEx Office Blog Tour. FedEx Office started their own blog in December 2009 to focus on “home organization, event planning, and time management, along with ideas for gifts and art projects.” The blog has ideas on everything from making bookmarks (like we did) to a whole series just on weddings — plans, crafts, etc.
The girls had lots of fun creating their bookmarks; and as soon as we are able to get them laminated, I hope to post pictures. I’m looking forward to checking out the other fun projects promoted on the Out of Office blog. Hope you’ll check them out, too, and let me know what you think!
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of FedEx Office and received the items necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
