I am a follower of Jesus Christ. He is my Savior, and I am still learning the vastness of His love for me… for ALL of us! (Please note: Not all links on my post about His love still work.)
I used to have several blogs none of which ever seemed to ‘go far.’ (Occasionally, you may see people refer to me as Suzanne or even, HSB Suzanne. One of these years I hope to formally explain that for all those who wonder but have never asked.)
I have two beautiful daughters ages 15 and 13. They are my delight! 🙂 I’m currently a stay-at-home mom wannabe, and perhaps I will one day be a home educator again. (I homeschooled my girls up until the ’09-’10 school year. Incidentally, the public school placed my older daughter in 3rd grade for her first year in public school; and she did so well, they promoted her to 5th grade (instead of 4th like all of her classmates) for the ’10-’11 school year! Both girls are flourishing in public school having been inducted into the National Junior Beta Club while in middle school. My older daughter, currently a sophomore in high school, is ranked top in her class. Remember? She’s the one who apparently couldn’t start public school with those in her age bracket. 🙂 ) But, in the true sense of home educating, I think all parents are homeschoolers because children are constantly learning, not “just” in a classroom.
I am divorced after being married for 19 years. You’ll see some of my thoughts on that interspersed throughout many of my posts. As much heartache as it has caused, it also brought me to a place where I could truly start to realize who I am. Now that my ex-husband has remarried, I have more “closure” than I did for the first two years after the divorce.
I hope you enjoy your time here on my blog! If you have any questions, please feel free to “drop me a line” at roseinthemorning [at] gmail [dot] com.
